Armin Savadkohi is South Carroll’s 2025 NFF Scholar Athlete

Congratulations to Senior OT/DE Armin Savadkohi on his selection as South Carroll’s 2025 National Football Foundation Scholar Athlete.

A two-year varsity football player, Armin has demonstrated a commitment to excellence and a strong work ethic both on the football field, and in the classroom. Armin was selected as a team captain for the 2025 season, and helped to lead a young position group on both sides of the ball.

Armin is finishing up his high school career with a 4.60 GPA and will be attending the University of Maryland to study Biology in the fall.

The Greater Baltimore Chapter of the NFF’s mission is to help student-athletes take responsibility for their futures through lessons learned on the playing field, in the classroom and in service to others.

Scholar-athletes representing football-playing high schools in the Baltimore metropolitan area were selected by their respective schools for a variety of factors, including extracurricular activities, leadership, and community activities.

Since it was founded in 1961, the Baltimore Chapter of the National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame represents amateur football in Baltimore and the surrounding counties of Anne Arundel, Carroll, Frederick, Harford and Howard.
